We'll only know the value of what we have lived after suffering since after the suffering, we learn the value of what we have lived. There is an infinite distance between love and hate and that distance is the own heart of man. But, is it possible for man to be infinite? There is no answer for that mystery but only to learn to be conscious of your own present and if you do, you'll see what nobody has seen and what in truth nobody can see but that what the soul has always understood.
What are you going to see? The all, the nothing, life, death? What you'll see is your own being.
