Which are the Three Main Spiritual Needs of Man

If there was no sun, the earth would be cold and abandoned but with the sun, there is warmth, light and clarity. But if I was blind, I could not perceive this glory, I could not comprehend about color and depth, or about the difference between night and day.

Then, there is not only the sun or the light, not only my eyes but my capacity to appreciate. And all this would begin not only with the appreciation of the outer side as the starting point but the appreciation of my inner self.

If I don’t have confidence, I will not look at the horizon and will not be able to distinguish and much less to know the value of spring, the profound, poetic, mystic and completely real meaning of life.

If I don’t have self affection and self love, I will not be able to love.

How can I appreciate? This is the beginning.

Now, as the second step: The confidence, the security that is built, that is shared, must be developed to the point that we become very close.

I have to believe in the world because it surrounds me with its land, its people, its food, its strength, its peace. And as a vision of solidarity, my blood must be the blood of the people and I must answer to their presence, with happiness and concern. Because if I did not believe, I would not have neither history nor presence. I could never picture myself in the future of others. And it happens when I take refuge in their eyes, in their soul and my soul. Then, confidence is the second step.

The third, necessarily is Love. But the steps don’t have to be separated or one after the other since they are as a flower and its color and aroma that beautify the morning, which brings clarity and expansion and dissipates the shadows. The dew that brings moist to the fields as little diamonds of light in the prairies.

If I don’t love, if I don’t feel, then I don’t exist. I would become useless and will not be able to take, to give. If I can’t give, I can’t receive confidence, credibility, solidarity and Universal Love, which are the paths to meet God.

Inspirational. For Reflection

I have seen many strong men fall in front of me. I have endured storms, violence, battles. I have seen birth, death, crying, laughing. I have been threatened one thousand times but death could not find me. It is as if friends and enemies, love and lack of love, were looking for me; and then I realized how important is to contemplate and for this art I left big conflicts and took big opportunities. I may be unimportant for many but I am edifying for others.

My message often overcomes the intelligence not by diminishing it but there is an attribute formed in my essence, which is some kind of knowledge and has to do with the art of enjoying life.

How beautiful are the seasons! how great is the sky and the ocean! how wonderful was the day of yesterday, the day of today and will be the day of tomorrow. I look at life from my door, I look at life from my window, I look at life from the beginning, I look at life from my destiny but I do it with a power that gives me control, that helps and gives me great understanding; does not annul me, does not inhibit me, does not age me, does not diminish me, on the contrary, it makes me grow in humility.

The fact is that I am a very special art and I will always be something to achieve for everybody. Because I am: Patience.

Spiritual Awakening

The spiritual awakening happens, when the present transcends its own limits and besides is unaffected by thought, by all those ideas that struggle and compete with each other; because there is no darkness or larger obstacle than the one that takes place in an unstable mind, with unresolved ideas, with lack of peace and harmony.

When man is capable of living beyond all that enslaves his reason, is because he has been able to surrender everything, because he has transcended selfishness; he no longer wants to manipulate or been manipulated, but rather, he only wants to be free. And then he can devote himself to discover and to know the mind in its natural state, in the most perfect contemplation, because the spirit is reflected in the same way that the image of the moon is reflected over the clear water; in stillness and calm where the permanent consciousness prevails.
Then, the here and now are constant, there are no longer any limits for birth, death, action, or non action. The ghosts of the mind, the non resolved things and the conflicts of the personality are left behind -as a mirage, they are no longer real.
The fight, the anguish have come to an end, and man does not longer lives or exists by his power or exposition but because he simply flows in eternity.
However, to be able to realize this process, is necessary to contemplate the calm of a serene mind and this is the path, but is not to destroy the mind, is not to fill you with fears or because it answers the call of many gods but because we rather have accepted our nature and then, we have self knowledge. And we discover without criticism, violence or frustrations; as simple creatures, inhabitants of a universe that must arrive to the communion with the knowledge, that is initiated with freedom, in which, the mind rests in the being's natural state, in the real present of an eternal dawn.

The Treasure Gained and the Treasure Lost

The story told here is about two young brothers and happens in a port . Their father was an expert fisherman, Good navigator of a capricious sea , sometimes tolerant and other times , dangerous to the point of anxiety and death .

This man was tanned by the sun , the salt , the water and the constant work , which made him to be of a deep , sensitive and reflective nature .

The father used to say to his children :

- Let's give thanks to God, who has created this prodigious sea, full of wealth and treasures , let's respect and let's take what is necessary . We don't need too many things to reach happiness . Since a good served table and to work in the sea are enough and give much more

One of the brothers was respectful and dedicated . He tried very hard to understand and to apply the experiences of his father of the mysteries of the sea . Since early childhood , he knew that his way was between the waves , the fish and the horizon . And also that every day he would have to love his work and the sea might give or take everything in an instant . That one day , he would become a worthy fisherman as his father , for whom he felt respect and fondness .

His father was a torch of light that would guide him in the roughest sea and he would bring peace and prosperity for him and his family . This man in our story , definitely was sincere , hard-working , unaffected and very respectful.

While the other brother's thoughts were : My father is an old man , a boat that got lost between the waves , a piece of timber that sinks all day long and the flavor of fisherman that I can't stand any more .

He did not respect him , since he thought that the sea and his old father were only a nightmare . He preferred not to listen and he used to say :

-The sea has no secrets . It is repetitive and boring , it only knows how to come and go . What can it teach me ? The fish are good to sell but for nothing else . We have been catching them for many years now , and the poor fools keep rising and coming to die in our nets . What is good or valuable here ? There is only sand , a hot sun, a storm in the beach . What is good about the life of a fisherman who puts only fish in his table?. There is nothing here worth to know and to value .

While the old father kept on teaching and kept on warning . And since life passes and nothing stays , one day the father delivered his life to the sea of infinity, where the stars are the line of the horizon and where the boat of life never returns to the port of this world . And the time came when his children had to face the day and they sailed in their boats . This time the sea seemed calm , pleasant , soft , as a kind mother . And since there was plenty of fish , the brothers went beyond reasonable limits.

The prudent brother thought : " I must remember not to be too ambitious and to respect the treasures of the sea “ And he turned and went back to the beach and to that port that saw him being born .

At the same time, the other brother with the mind full of ambition, was thinking : " Today is a good day for fishing . Why should I return ? I will go as far as I can and will fill my boat because this is a dumb sea and the wealth of today has to be completely mine"

He also saw the image and the memory of his father who seemed to warn him:

" The sea , truly is jealous of its wealth . If you don't respect it , you will condemn yourself and it will take you , it will sacrifice you and you will die because of your vanity . Your flesh will be eaten by the fish and your bones will sink in the deep of this generous but fierce sea . You already have what you need , even more . Go back now , while there is time "

But this other son, did not listen to the warnings, that his heart was interpreting and reading from beyond . He kept on going , throwing his nets and it happened that suddenly the sea became mad . The soft and delicate waves became so rough as if touched by the demon . They became gigantic and in addition , the sun hid . The night was arriving and the sea was roaring.

The boat was too full and the water started entering and filling the boat while the captured fish were stimulated by the water and began to jump out .

The man who did not want to listen , found himself sinking into the sea , surrounded by water and plenty of fish , in which , he was sinking .

Less than an hour passed and there was no boat . The fish were free again in their element . While the man was in the middle of two immensely dark and black infinites : The sky did not have stars that night and the sea was dark as oil .

The man was losing his strength , he had lost everything and he was going to lose even more . He would lose his life .

There were neither illusions nor dreams not even tomorrow would come . He would lose everything for not having listened for not having respected the wisdom of his forefathers .

The man knew that soon he would die and he would become food for the sea and the fish . He was very distressed and the salt of his tears were mixed with the salt of the sea and with a few words , he was asking life , the sea and his father who was living in the stars , to rescue him .

Nevertheless he lost his strength . He got cramps in his legs and arms and he began to sink as a piece of metal , to swallow water by mouth and nose . And the sea that had served him -that had rocked and lulled him to sleep, today would take him . His bones would bury in the infinite depth of the sea that he did not want to understand and respect.

And he sank, losing consciousness and control . Then , it seemed that a door of silence was opened and the anguish became calm . It was death that was coming to embrace him and to steal the kiss of existence that once life gave him .

But , oh mystery of mystery , when death was almost touching , taking him , without realizing , he stayed as contained , as returning to the womb of an affectionate mother .

In a moment he was reborn , not of a womb but of a few nets , from the boat of his brother . The brother, after arriving to the port , learned that the other brother had not returned . Then he disembarked a small part of the fish and returned to the sea . And to accelerate he returned the fish to the sea and he came just on time to save the irresponsible , immature brother , who never wanted to listen .

It was dawn , when they returned to the beach . And the brother who knew, how to listen , said to the one who had been born again :

- I will never forget this day . I have had great treasures even yesterday , but I had to return them to the sea , but I do not repent . Today I felt the breath of my father in me . I could listen to him and I am returning to the port with a greatest treasure because I thought that you were lost and today I can embrace you .

This is the treasure that our father left us . Today we are richer , not for what we took but for what we left and because we learned to listen .

And both brothers embraced each other.

In Search of Reality

Everything is a path in life, with a first step and a last step, and in the middle, innumerable experiences, almost as deep as to unite those first and last steps.

Reality, is not only what happens to us, but how we react to what happens to us, and how this will leave a mark and this mark will manifest in our lives. And after this, our life will break like a shell and a new life will arise. And everything else, will not be like a dream, but like the pieces of a puzzle, that when united, are complete and form a whole, which becomes something solid and absolute, and in reality, is the whole life, but also the dreams, even the deceits, also the accomplishments and the errors. And we will take this, like credits or debits, in our favor and against us, many of ourselves and many of others.

And this is our reality, is not, of course, the last spiritual reality, but is the reality of man, and with a little of yesterday, of today and tomorrow.

Many, pretend to have a safe reality, and to reach shores of hope, with no pain, suffering or needs. But in truth after we know our spiritual origin, we will become that reality because everything else, no matter how big, complex and deep, will pass, not as a drop of water, which consumes on the earth, it will pass like a deep footprint which engraves in the heart, and which sometimes knows how to laugh and another times, how to cry.

But this reality is also part of a greater reality, the one that we live in a dream like world, but when we wake up, we no longer return to the dream. We have had enough dreaming and enough dreams.

And now a last reality, will stay, and this is only known when we find God. And this does not depend on our effort, since this reality does not come and goes. Everything has its right time, therefore: "Let each one live his mystery, which is life, and reality will arrive someday. It will arrive"

Good Health and Disease. Two Titanic Rivals

The scenario is the human body. The protagonists are two fierce characters, who have the most sophisticated elements to dominate, control and if necessary to annihilate one another. They confront and attack constantly their weakest and vulnerable areas. Nevertheless, both are the exact and precise division of the same individual. And, what is the meaning of this? That good and evil happen at the same time and in turn, that the weakness of one is the strength of the other. When one is present, the other is absent. The violence of one is the passivity of the other. In good account, they both, are the critical extreme of the other. From the maximum to the minimum and vice versa. But they can’t separate, because implicitly, one is the maximum of the other. Then, we must understand the need for equilibrium and still go further on. And this means, to transcend these extremes, these opposites. So that these insatiable pair leave the battle and fighting spirit behind. Health and disease, as well as good and evil, are expressions of the rhythm of the natural life. In the Science of Spiritual Knowledge, there is something more that health and something more than disease. That goes even beyond the concept of balance. Where, everything is perfectly integrated and flows like a ship on the sea. There are no opposites, violence and attacks. Everything is in a natural state, which means abundant unconditional energy. Therefore, the harmony is perfect, because there is integration and a total state of being.

Handling Resentments

We often have experiences where we may experiment resentment and then, it may seem that we have enough causes, reasons and motives. The mind -as fire, turns on -in a moment, the firmament.

After some hours, maybe days, we get our sanity back, but very often, it is too late, because we have burned, based on our pride, vanity, arrogance or whatever reasons that we want to use to justify. We burned our own home and now we have the ashes of our loved ones in our hands because the hatred and unconsciousness blinded us.

Do we want to hurt the loved one? Are our reasons valid to tear the delicate veil of trust, confidence, friendship? What will happen tomorrow? Will we go to sleep next to a calcified cadaver? Can we plant on burned soil? Will we feed on smoky food? When facing violence, let’s use the superior intelligence, the humble sacrifice that rises with victory and the flag of tolerance and understanding.
Jesus taught us to present the other cheek and to forgive seventy-seven times, not because his Love was obsessive or insane but because his Love always was and will be, sincere, real and true. And at the end of times, I do not want to cry resentments or experiment losses, I want to smile and to embrace my loved ones. Today, I promise, that I will put aside conflicts, I will throw away the weapons, I will uproot the rancor and I will always give my best.

When you are experiencing those times when nothing seems to work and your enemies are after you, where will you find the strength to win?

The one who lacks knowledge may make fun about this but the reason is that he ignores about the supernatural. But the one who has deepen into the inner art, knows that Serenity is a very superior force since Ki flows, no matter the outer circumstance, even if it is the last moment, even if you are hurt, or have lost the battle.
Remember this, cultivate Serenity and Inner Peace since then, it will come what will give you the solution. And the wind will calm, the fire will cease, the menacing waters, will kiss your feet, evil will pass in front of you and will not be able to see you. Remember, you become weak when you lose control. You become strong and win if you look for Serenity and Inner Peace.

Those warriors are fierce, clinging to their weapons and their pride. But the old man in front of them do not have any weapon and his calm is his strength.
The warriors attacked with fast, violent and aggressive movements. The old man seemed not to get around, everyone thought that he would be defeated. After a few seconds the fierce warriors have been defeated, the old man remains calm, the warriors will never get up.
How did the old man win? How did the warriors lost?
They asked the old man: " What techniques did you use?"
The old man smiled and said: " No techniques.""But how can this be?" They insisted.
And the old man answered: " Techniques are used only at the beginning of the game but then, the forms disappear, the combat disappears, everything turns silent, the battle is finished."
And they asked one more question: " Where is your strength?"
And he only said: " In the wind." And then left.
And I asked myself: " What happened to the warriors? Why they did not survive?"
And the answer is :" The Art of the Wind is united to the Art of the Water, it is powerful as Fire but even more powerful than Fire.

I looked at the sky and I saw a great expansion. I looked at the horizon and could not find its end, I approached the sea, threw a stone, it sank and I did not know how far down it went. I went up the mountain and saw that there were others that were higher. I looked down from the top of the mountain and the altitude made me shudder.
I have seen so many distances, so much vastness that have moved me. How great is the all ! How vast is the universe ! How deep ! How complex !
But, when I looked inside myself, that is to say, to the inner silence, that universe that seemed so big to me, in a mysterious way, becomes small. There is something bigger than what is big, deeper than what is deep. And it is not outside, it is inside each one of us. But I think that it is only the beginning of something that goes beyond words, that is capable of joining the all and the nothing and is as a wonderful brightness. And then, I realized that is not internal, that is not external, that it is everywhere.

The perspiration, blood and soil joined. And from the steps on the path, the footprints formed. For some, is destiny and for others, it simply is the mystery that is woven between heaven and earth.
Destiny is the same mystery , that every day is traveled in the circle of life. Will it be by will or by decision that this soul that I called mine expands in the infinity of life ?
And the feeling, the thinking, the actions have been interwoven and the rigor of the discipline has been fused. Will this be Divine Will ? Will it be inexorable punishment ?
You can only understand when by virtue of the work and effort of having sowed in the path, our hands are hurt with the thorns. And from the blood arises the red flower, blood that being mixed with seed and soil, gives the rose of fire.

Happiness is an experience completely spiritual and is a clear and defined combination of harmony, peace and enthusiasm, which is found at the feet of prayer. But, happiness has different levels, the fastest way to reach it, is through spiritual gratitude, which means that happiness is also the contentment of feeling what I feel when my heart is grateful because it has confidence, security and is strengthened in the Love that contemplates, in the Love that receives and in the Love that gives.

What to do so happiness stays, increases and becomes stronger? The right way is to move away from lies, arrogance, vanity, bitterness, resentment, envy and hatred. In good account, is to allow the spirit to be free and to fly; in this way, it will be able to return home, alert to the spiritual ecstasy, the ecstasy of feeling true Love, which has revealed itself the miracle of Love.

Happiness, has continuity only, in the study of faith; which is as large as an ocean and keeps in its depth the divine revelation. And happiness feels that there is a greater, more complete and more loving happiness, which is called joy; and is here where starts the true plenitude, the perfect science of unmatched value, that give us vision and understanding in the center of our being, because happiness is to value the being as the unique and superior capacity to Love.

The Most Valuable Treasure

Once upon a time, all beings were summoned to a very special place of the universe, with the purpose of finding the most valuable treasure. People came from different places, with various and great pretensions. They all wanted to be the winner and to show off their power and wealth.
There were some who brought gold, others brought arms, science and technology. While others brought titles and properties. This event lasted for many months, and was so great, that it practically took all the attention of the universe. Everyone was commenting about the event and all the spectators were asking themselves: What will be the most valuable treasure? What will be the greatest power?
Then, like coming from nowhere, an unknown man appeared. He was rather humble and dressed in a very simple tunic. His face was calmed and his step was quiet. But this man brought nothing in his hands, he was not carrying any apparent treasure. Those, who were in charge of the event and the general public were watching him, with arrogance and scorn. Then, when they saw him so fragile and helpless, they decided to make fun of him.

And they said: " The last man from earth, has come, let's see what important thing, he brings". While, mockingly they were commenting between themselves: "We can see that he has no class or foundation" And they put the man in front of everyone, they call the judges, mainly the wisest, even the oldest and they said: " Maybe, you have not realized that there are kingdoms, valuable jewels, gold objects, great instruments of science and of great value, shown in front of you. What can you bring? Are you crazy, perhaps?

Or maybe, your ignorance, does not allow you to see? Speak, once and for all, so we can laugh and then, we can choose the most valuable treasure"

And the man spoke in front of the multitude. There was total silence. And his words sounded like pearls falling, like angelical harps. And he said: " My brothers, judge for yourselves, because I have not come to show off or for personal glory, but to share something with you, that is really valuable" And then, he opened his tunic and he showed his naked chest. While saying simultaneously:
"There is a heart here that loves you. And by this Love, I wish you all, Peace. You can have great wealth , wonderful powers, but if there is no Peace, then, there is nothing. Peace be always with you. Because is the glory of Love and is the presence of God in your hearts"
And then, he stopped. And if there was total silence before, now it was even deeper.

And then, the oldest and wisest of all the judges rose and said: " It is very certain, what you just said. How ignorant, we all have been! True wealth is not found in power, or in control, but just as you said: True wealth is Love, which is eternal, true, and which is the promised Peace. You, certainly are the most powerful and the richest man on earth"

And soon, the man answered: " So be it. But the power is not mine, since everything comes from God. And my knowledge occurs because of my trust in Him"

And the rich, and the powerful and all the persons, inclined in front of him. Then, arrogance left and Truth was revealed: "There is no wealth, if there is no Peace."

The Importance of Listening

This is a subject directly related to joy and happiness. It is beyond riches and poverty, even beyond everything. This everything may be good health and disease.
The Love that we receive and the Love that we give are most important. Every living being needs recognition, understanding, dedication, support, affection, tenderness. The plenitude of life is not the gold but the treasure of been accepted. This is a process, similar to a very fine instrument, which has to be perfectly tuned in order to give the best of itself. Here is one of the pillars, the foundation that supports a creative, strong, healthy and generous society.

The persons are not prepared, even more, they are not educated to have consideration and the right attitude. We have to reflect, to meditate, to consider the consequences for every action in life.

Because life is made of the right fulfillment of our actions and the little touches are most important. We all are important. We all are royalty and subjects. We all are children of Love, Peace and Justice but very few know this and their actions are completely opposed.Man is constantly hurting himself. This is necessary to consider and understand : And it happens when our actions are not the ones that our spiritual nature demands as children of true Love, as sensible and conscious beings of an active spirituality and not by coincidence but by order, harmony and peace.

The list of requirements may seem endless but it may be summarized in being real, original, true, authentic and in love with life.
We don't have a real existence if we don't have a real participation, if the interest is not genuine, if the conscience does not grow, expands, blooms, improves. Then, we are closing our eyes, living in darkness, in the kingdom of shadows.
True Love is not only poetry, a passing affection or a simple expression of love. It is an expression of constant improvement and renewal.
Our happiness is found beyond giving and receiving but through that process, life awakes and the spiritual intelligence expands and grows in life. And life is the art and inspiration of the Divine Creator.

The wind may listen to my words, praising its breeze, by the seashore. The fire may understand my passion in the snow capped mountains. And the earth may discover how I feel when I walk on her, or the sea, wrap me up and allow me to dilute, to become only one and to discover its secrets. And Nature may listen to me or in justice, I will listen to my heart and then, the blood will be the river. I will support on this, as if it was the power of life but it is not fire, although it may seem like it. And the lungs will fill with wind and the bones will be columns. And the teeth as metals and the eyes as the doors of the soul, infinite oceans, that hide and keep but they know because they have found out with its presence, what's beyond it all.The whole Nature takes me, carries me, leads me, points to me, forces me, directs me, imprisons me and frees me from everything. At the same time, in an instant, life and death unite, all and nothing.

Nature is big and small at the same time, like in a grain of sand in front of a mountain. A sparkle of light, an ardent volcano, the sun at noontime, the placid sea, an agitated sea, charming waves that hit the rock and together with the light pour out foam of diamonds. A desert earth, hot and cold, unstable in its climate but deep, companion of everything. Mother and father of sweet fruits and living beings, species of the forests and species of the air. Nature has so many faces, she gives so much every day! And the force of life is the magic of the elements, is the chain that sustains life and at the same time is the reason of death. Nature is my living sister, my growing seed, is the past of my origin, the clarity of the present and the infinite tomorrow, that does not end the horizon but becomes gigantic. Look at the skies, the bird that sings, the flower that is reborn and faints, the spirit of joy, the warm spring, passionate and sensual, the sea and wind that undulate, the attractive flower of different colors, the dew and strong flint, the good food to take, the skin of my skin, voice and breath of life. Nature has made me prisoner of her presence, reason of her tenderness and cruelty of her mystery, of her profound revelation since I have happiness with her and extinction without her.

Where is Happiness?

Who has stolen it ? Who has taken it away ? Perhaps the sun, or maybe was the moon or the stars, or is hidden on the top of the mountain or behind the top of the trees ?

Have the clouds concealed it ? Where is Happiness ? Who has taken it away ? Maybe the wind kill it ? Who has been ? They probably put an ambush , how cruel . Why nobody dared to defend it ? Did they kill it in a solitary place and in cold blood ?

Poor Happiness , how lonely it must have felt . How sad . I can't understand this since Happiness was so giving , its wonderful presence , its joy , smile , sweetness, compassion . Why did they kill it ?

What we have done, may seem strange, incomprehensible, irrational, absurd, but I want to ask: Is this not what humanity does with its own destiny, with its path , with its surroundings?

With the things that they don't understand or don't want to understand ?
Humanity may give the impression that they advance while they go back . The world is ancient of its own reality . The man wants to be happy at the expense of another's happiness and because of it he can even kill .

There is almost no humanity left. Happiness is hidden or it has been killed. Let's not ever forget that Purity , Respect and Dignity are fundamental elements of Happiness.
If we take them away if we deny them , we will also kill Happiness . Let's make a difference , let's take care of Happiness by cultivating Peace , Uprightness , Respect and Dignity .

Who can find it? The most developed nations have been asked for help, but nothing could be done. Now, something has happened, the police found something. Many dreams have been lost in different cities of the world. And many safety measurements have been taken, which are as follows:"Never stop loving." "Do not hold grudges." "Always tell the truth.""Forgive." "Forget about violence, look for friendship." "Transmit peace."

Life is not a coincidence. We don't have a predetermined destiny and we are not supposed to simply survive.
We are beings created by True Love, we have a wonderful potential to live in abundance and this means that there is a talent or many natural, spiritual talents, which we have to develop and experience such as friendship, generosity, wisdom.
These experiences of life, will give us the answer to our purpose in life and also the wisdom to realize superior goals. Let's use time in a clear, concise and correct way. We have to understand that we are centers of energy and our will attracts good or bad.
We learn from every new moment and the most important teaching is that we are living reflections of Divine Love.
Peace, harmony, good health and progress are real and natural, even, healthy spiritual aspirations. Let's reflect and let's do the right actions and let's not live only to pass through. The art of balancing the opposites is transformed in meditation in the understanding that the extremes are the elements that complement the unity of all. But we will not be able to see if we keep on distinguishing the opposites.
Life and death by example, seem opposites but they are a perfect cycle where life travels as essence, sometimes as light and other times as darkness but where there are neither shadows nor conflicts or chaos.
The whole life is a learning school where we have to reach experiences and reflect about them and there will be moments, very distant and very different. The Search for Truth.

A selected group of people left on a voyage searching for Truth. Some traveled by ship, got lost and were never found. Others, went to the highest mountains with steep summits and were never found. Others, traveled by paths and paths, got lost, and were never found either.

But others stayed to reflect, they got lost in their reflection, and their minds were never found. Only one, who recogned that all the others had failed, understood that Truth was neither in a far away place nor near him because every place, finally is a place. And he said: " If it is not here, if it is not there. Where is Truth? It seems to hide, to conceal."

He finally got older and his time to die arrived. And in his deathbed, close to leave, a very small child approached him and said: " Why do you have to leave? "

And he learned the first truth: Nothing is permanent. If you search for Truth in the impermanent, you will not find it.

He stared at the child and said: " Don't do what I did. Don't look for Truth because you will get lost and will only find the impermanent."

The child did not understand and said: " Truth, what is Truth. I don't know."
Then, the old man understood the Second Truth: There is a profound mystery that covers Truth. It is a vast infinite cloak that is present in everything that exists, in the time, in the temporary. All may seem very real one day and the next day, it may not be. And this is a mystery and it was found that everything changes and that the secret of Truth is kept as mystery.

What is the mystery? It is the search for Truth in what is transitory.Then, what could he explain to that child about Truth, which he has searched for so much? He could not say anything because he did not know anything. Nevertheless, the child understood and said: " Oh, I know what Truth is. It is what nobody can talk about, then I will listen to it in the silence."

And that old man understood that what is relative is changing. And that the mystery is won in the silence. And when surprised by the silence, he found himself with the mind serene and everything was then Truth. Life is like a dream and what is permanent and important inhabits in the spiritual silence, in secret words, in the eternal spiritual vision.

Truth, which is immortal essence, is not born, does not die ever. And that man saw the child and understood: " Even though I may leave, one part of me will stay in you and another part of you will leave with me. Separated, united, that is the Truth. In essence, nothing comes and nothing goes. What is permanent always is.

When silence speaks, the word listens, when the word speaks, silence listens; when silence stops talking, the word speaks, when the word stops talking, silence speaks. The origin of the all and the nothing, come from a common source.

They are and it is the image that is seen and the one that is hidden, they are and it is the science that knows and discovers and they also are the science that does not know and that ignores. Man can devise and lose himself in his reflection and can find and get the revelation about what for the thought is impossible to analyze and to solve.

The all and the nothing are like a container, where life exists. Its form and walls are firm and concrete, its emptiness contains the great vast sea of the probabilities of the future non lived yet, but that someday will be lived. It is a glass filled with its own emptiness.

How can word and silence be separated, if they are one? But always, one stops talking and the other arises and always one expresses while the other waits. The all and the nothing reflect life and its mystery.

When I look at the horizon and the whole nature, the valleys, rivers, mountains and stars, I understand that time has passed but I also understand that something, in essence, has not changed. Since life is like a withered leave that falls and is blown away by the wind. But at the same time, a new flower is born.

The warrior was tired after the battle. He had fought against a large army. It had been a battle where he didn't sleep, eat or drink during four days. He was really exhausted. Then, he sat on the ground and thought:

" There is an inner battle that is stronger that the one that I just went through, because I have found that my nature is weak if I don't rest. It does not matter whether I was a big castle, I would soon turn into dust and a small wind would knock me down. The battle did not last for many days but if it had lasted one more instant, it would seem like eternity. I realize that I will never be a strong warrior until I conquer my weakness. I need an inexhaustible source of energy but where is it? What is there that makes me capable of crossing rivers, sea, of facing difficulties and even armies, while maintaining my serenity and strength. What can this be? If even the stronger sword breaks, I have not known any thing immortal, everything that exists is like a clay pot, it lasts if taken care of, but it breaks when neglected. Then, what can I do? What is there that makes the arms strong, so strong that nobody can defeat me? "

He, then, was silent, in a deep silence. And from that depth, arose a voice: " The warrior of noble intention, is the one who acts without conditions. The one who has a firm commitment, the one who in truth does not fight. The one whose strength is above and beyond the combat. His eternal force is Love."

THE ART OF THE WIND

Those warriors are fierce in combat, clinging to his arms and pride. But the old man facing them, did not have any weapon and his calm is his strength.

The warriors attacked with fast, violent, aggressive movements. The old man seemed not to move and everybody thought that he would be defeated. After a few moments, the fierce warriors had been defeated while the old man seemed calm. And the warriors will never fight again.

How did the old man win? How did the warriors lose?

They asked the old man what techniques he had used. And he smiled and said:
-I have not used any technique.

-How can this be? they said

The old man said:
-The techniques are only at the beginning of the play but then, the forms disappear, the combat disappear, everything becomes silent, the battle has ended.

They asked one more question to the old man.
-Where is your strength?

And he only said:
-In the wind.

And he left.

Where will the warriors be, I asked myself, because nobody survived.

And says:

The art of the wind is related to the art of the water, it is powerful as fire but even more powerful than fire.
